King Columbia is a 5-piece stringband formed in the primordial sludge beneath the streets of Portland, OR. This supergroup of Post-Modern Folk consists of 5 singing multi-insrumental songsmen, with Lucas Biespiel on fiddle, Will St. John on dobro and banjo, Jack Maybe on upright bass, and Joseph Waya and Benny Gilbert sharing guitar, harmonica, and percussion. They are bursting with a raw harmonious energy and would love to entertain you.
Come join us Sunday afternoon from 1-4pm at the Steven Kent Winery in Livermore!
They always have a Food Truck on premise and the Gourmet Stacked Burgers (with veggie options!) is the lucky truck for Sunday. (you can also bring picnic food from outside). The Patio has umbrella covered tables to keep you cool along with the chilled wine :-) – they do tasting and/or sell bottles.
The band also played there a couple weeks ago- here is a review of the winery and the band.
